I am a doctoral candidate in the Department of Political Science at UC San Diego. My fields of specialization are International Relations (with a focus on International Political Economy) and Comparative Politics, but my research interests are much broader. My dissertation focuses on electoral geography and its consequences for economic policies. My other research focuses on conflict, the role of networks in diplomacy, policy-making in North Korea and voting, and an ongoing survey of the field of International Relations. My work has appeared in International Organization, International Studies Quarterly, Review of International Political Economy, Evaluation Review, Foreign Policy, International Journal, Politics and Gender.
